Blimey...I've had a few e-mails about this of late but can now confirm that volume 1 is officially out of print.
E-bay currently lists plenty of volume 2 but no volume 1. And dealers on Amazon are listing them from £23.74 plus shipping.
Actually scratch that, I see an American dealer is offering it for £79.69 plus shipping. That's just plain silly...

I confess that I didn't buy either volume but I always intended to. I don't have a large collection of Saint books but I have enough to have quite a few of the collected stories.
After seeing your message I immediately began shopping around and found a vol 1 on play.com Marketplace for about £6 and immediately bought it. That night I got an email saying the book had been sold, terribly sorry, here's a refund. The cheapest marketplace is now £20.
Abe Books had one for about £7 and I've ordered that, hopefully it's in the post. I also ordered vol 2 just in case. Thanks for the warning.
