Le Saint in Inglourious Basterds

Having seen the latest of Quentin Tarantino's brainchilds in cinema, it was the missus choice of movie this time, I did notice that the heroine of this sad tale was sitting in a Paris cafe and reading a book. Something which more folks should be doing I might want to add. But the book in Question was: Le Saint a New York. (corrected the title)

It is known that with QT a lot is said in the details. So I am kinda curious what mr. Tarantino's thought are on my literary hero.

I assume you're being picky, given that I have two copies of Le Saint a Paris sitting on my shelves.

Anyway I've not seen the film but I thought it was Le Saint a New York in the movie?

Well there is a book `De Saint in Parijs` but I made a mistake, as she was reading this novel in Paris.
And actually it was my wife that spotted it. Then I saw it. but it was one of the highlights for me in the movie.

You know this forum really is for the most devoted of Saintly disciples, when posters pedantically discuss the correct French title of The Saint in New York, but spare a thought for ill-educated knuckleheads, like myself, whose idea of speaking a foreign language translates into simply changing accent; as seen in The Saint TV series emoticon
