The Saint on BBC7
Ian ****erson posted the following 'Saint Club News' message:
BBC 7 are running the three adaptations of The Saint starring Paul Rhys
next week.
Monday sees the turn of Saint Overboard (at 13:00 and 20:00 UK time)
Tuesday is the turn of The Saint Closes the Case (same times)
Wednesday presumably sees The Saint Plays With Fire (highly likely to be
at the same times)
You can listen to BBC 7 online at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/bbc7.shtml and it's also available on DAB
digital radio, Freeview, digital satellite and digital cable.
And if you miss it they have a listen again online feature at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbc7/listenagain/monday/ which effectively provides
an online archive of the last 6 days schedule.

Thursday 19th October at 6:00pm on BBC7 - "The Radio Detectives" is part of a documentary series covering famous sleuths on the airwaves, and this time it will cover all the audio incarnations of Simon Templar. Be there and be halo-shaped!

Weirdly, according to the Radio Times, the Saint episode seems to have been dropped - but this contradicts the announcer.
Last week was Father Brown (still on Listen Again).
According to the online Radio Times, tonight is Gideon Fell.
And next week Inspector West.
Boo! I may well email the BBC and ask what happened to the touted Saint one (unless they got their announcment wrong last week - it's still on Listen Again where the announcer states that the next one is "The Robin Hood of Crime, Simon Templar, aka the Saint"). I suspect they are listing a previous series of the show in the RT.

A bit of a blunder by the BBC, lets hope they get there act together soon – although with only two instalments of the series left, I doubt the Saint will be featured in this series.
