Since imdb have already named him I can confirm that the director of the pilot film will be TJ Scott.

I think you're being a tad harsh given that he's racked up many hours directing various drama and action series in the US and Canada.
More to the point he knows his stuff and unlike some other directors I could name, isn't insisting his own take on the character be stamped across the pilot and is very much in tune with the producer's overall vision of what a new Saint should be.

It's just an observation that he's not a Name to get a lot of people all excited, because they don't recognise it. That's not to prejudge that he won't do a good job with the script and budget that he's given.
It does look as though this will become a Vancouver job though, as that's how costs are kept down.
