The Saint film (Kilmer) alternate version

I found the following script online. Is this what was used to film the original version of The Saint film?
It was then screened and Noyce filmed another ending?

I have to say, I am quite impressed with this version. I think it plays off much better than the storyline that was used in the theatrical.

Merry Christmas!

Forgot to add this. I've started an online petition to have the alternate version released on DVD.

I'd love to see the original version, perhaps if there is a new TV series Paramount might treat us to the 'Director's Cut.'

I posted the above in 'How The Saint Should Really Have Finished.'

I've read Burl Barer's book - which contains the full, and might I add, very dramatic ending. I noticed that the trailer also includes a scene with Alun Armstrong's character; after Simon's escape from his London hotel, which wasn't in the final cut.

Stills from the unused footage exist (or did), as I seem to remember a few featuring in the film magazine 'Empire' to accompany it's review.

There's a strong rumor doing the rounds that Paramount in the States are considering re-releasing the film on DVD.

No word on what extras they might consider or whether or not they'd include the alternate ending.
