I remember seeing this movie that I was really impressed with the soundtrack. So I wandered to my cd-dealership and ordered this soundtrack, receiving a scolding look from the seller. he did not approve.
Anyhow he received the cd, called me and I went to pick it up the next day. Entering the shop I noticed some very familiar music being played in the shop. This shop was more specialized in lets say alternative music. The seller had ordered as he always did 2 copies and after listening had decided that he really liked the cd. He later told me he'd sold more than 50 units which is pretty impressive in a store that's aimed at punks, rockers and such....
I still think that the one thing the Saint in 1997 did right was the soundtrack. And the modern version of the Saint's theme sounds very good.

Like you, I really love the soundtrack to Kilmer's movie. About six months ago, I was lucky enough to get a promotional copy with 31 track, from www.movieboulevard.co.uk

Thanks to mr. Teal I am now able to listen to the Graeme Revell music of the Saint OST 1997.
Thanks Rob, in case you are wondering they've arrived and I've settled down relaxing while listening to it.
But now I know it excists I'll be looking for it.

I saw Kiss kiss, bang bang today and Kilmer was truly spectacular in his part his play with Downey Jr. was the stuff oscars are supposed to given too. A great detective and humorous movie by Shane Black.
Kilmer showed once more that he's truly a good actor (anybody seen Spartan, do so!). I am sure that given a decent script the Saint with Kilmer would have taken off like a rocket.
As it is the Saint (1997) is as good due to kilmer's acting.

Cool news on the soundtrack! I'd love to have the complete score!
I've had both the score and the various artists cd's of The Saint for some time now. I also really enjoy the Orbital single of The Saint theme. There is also 2 other additional tracks on the single. Sinner and the Saint and ... Can't recall the other one right now. Anyway, both are in the same style and very, very cool.
I also have the classic Saint series cd too.
