Re: Region 2 DVD
Great news – that should give me enough time to crack the combination code on my piggy bank!

Re: Region 2 DVD
Sorry if this question has been asked before...but will these dvds ever be available for the U.S. market? How about if I purchase a external DVD player for my computer and played the region 2 disks? Would that work?
Thanks!
Jim

Re: Region 2 DVD
These are region 2, so if your DVD player can cope with that and your TV/monitor can cope with PAL you should be okay.
No company has shwon interest in issuing them in the US.

Re: Region 2 DVD
Hi jschaeff
Welcome to the Saint online.
I had the same problem, but playing region 1 discs – I did exactly what you have suggested, and had no problems (R2 on my computer & R1 via an external DVD player/writer).
I can recommend AMACOM, who make several external players. From experience, I would also suggest using a firewire connection cable, rather than USB or parallel, because of the faster transfer speed.
