The Brave Goose
On both DVD boxes the movie The Saint and the Brave Goose is in 4:3 format. I wonder why the format is not wider (16:9 or more) as it was a feature film originally. It would look much better on a current (wide) TV screen. Does anyone know why?

I think it's because it wasn't made for the cinema originally - it was a TV two-parter spliced together which got a limited cinema release: much like The Fiction Makers and Vendetta for The Saint.
