Both of you got it right, Wills and Merzibelle...I was shocked and relieved for now the reason for all of what had happened was clear at last.

A couple of weeks later, I was lying in bed, somewhat depressed...nah. make that really depressed...and as I was in that sort of twilight between sleep and full consciousness, I saw Will standing by my bed, all spiffed in his full-dress, looking like he did before he scutlled his mustache, with a big smile on his face. That really cheered me up.

Oh, aye, having that dream was nice...then one day, homeless and lonely in San Francisco, I fell asleep reading a book at the library, I heard that wonderful scots brogue of his, him say, "Nae woory, Lights, laddie, it is all going to come right."
