Ioan Gruffudd (TITANIC's 5th Officer Harold Lowe)
Today as I was watching Pat Robertson's The 700 Club on the TBN channel, I saw this producer discussing his new Faith-based film. It is titled Amazing Grace, about John Newton, the author of that beautiful song. Guess who I recognized as the handsome young actor playing his good friend, William Wilburforce in the shorts? Why, he is none other than TITANIC's very own Fifth Officer Harold Lowe (Horatio Hornblower, 102 Dalmatians) himself--Ioan Gruffudd.
"Amazing Grace" is probably the most popular hymn in the English language. A television documentary was even made about it. Perhaps it is because its words so well describe the author: John Newton (Albert Finney, Daddy Warbucks in Annie), who was a former slave trader before coming to Christ.

Oh I agree 100% with you there, Bess. He still looks good even if he is wearing aging make-up in the above film that's due out this coming February 23rd, as William Wilburforce.
And you're so lucky too to have met him inperson. Now that makes two of us who have met former TITANIC stars. It was Gloria Stuart who I met way before she played Old Rose.

TBN, quite unlike the other secular channels, does not...I repeat, does not have commercial interruption. That is why I highly recommend it to you to watch, when AG is eventually aired on it.
