he is the one that we all remember . mostly because he went back that night to help save passengers.

well i guess. i mean obvious he would have.
he was a good and promising officer. im sure they would wanted to have kept him. i mean afterall it was my fault not his that titanic sank. he was still in bed at the time titanic hit the iceberg.

I just don't remember anything about him. Plus, I thought WSL did everything they could to 'hide' reminders of Titanic, including limiting the promotions of her officers.

Definitely. I think all of their best officers and officer candidates were on Titanic. WSL sort of slit their own throats with the stunts they pulled after the sinking.
