Nah no sucking, OM. It really must have knocked you on your back...to FINALLY be made Chief and then have the rug yanked out so rudely from under your feet.

Yeah, it affected me, too, OM only I didn't have quite the letdown you had because I had already served as a "First" whereas this was your first "go" as Chief Officer.

Yes ..I agree .. to not even having a chance to actually be a chief was a devastating blow indeed.
