Hi everyone ,
this is a subject matter that has proven to be rather delicate at times over the past near century. Did a person in fact commit suicide? Perhaps the passengers were imagining things? Afterall some of these people were the same ones that said Titanic actually sank in one peice...for which we all know she did not.
Some swear it was offcier Murdoch..others say Wilde ..still some claim it was Smith that done it.. However what proof is there of anyone commiting suicide? None really as there never was a body that was recovered and shown to have had marks of suicide on them.. though it has been told that a body was recovered that had a gunshot wound to prove that a passenger was shot by an officer.. Well I have to say unless I can see the entire details of the "recovery efforts" then I am not believing such nonesence.
Now as for the suicide...What do you think ?
In order to say anythign you would have to examine the individual persona. Research their own stories prior to the Titanic and get a better image of them in their own surroundings. Perhaps that could help us shed some light on things.
as for yself I am not going to say anything either way for right now . I would like to know what others think so please feel free to speak your mind on this subject.
By the way just to clear something up I put this in Murdoch's forum because most people assess him as the person whom actually did it.
