I agree with you there, my friend. What with her husband being a former Navy-man, he will most certainly calm her fears once she sets her feet onboard the Mariner...and as she (the ship) sets sail.

Hi MA,
Thanks for the posting of the pic.. that is a great shot of her indeed.
Bev should be back from her cruise and back to work Thursday so I will find out how she did....and see lots of pictures lol..

You're most welcome, Wills, for the above photo of Queen Mary...for I was most happy to do.
I happened to notice that there is no smoke coming out of her three funnels...like another photo I have of Olympic, with no smoke coming out of her's either. How pecular I thought to myself, but then I thought...perhaps it's a painting of her too. 
Anyhoo, I happen to come across the cruise photos that Carla, my cabinmate took on our cruise. One of the photos is of us aboard Queen Mary, wearing our matching Ya Ya Sisters' T-shirts. We're in her starboard side Promenade Cafe, sitting at a table where we had a free breakfast before disembarking.
I no longer have a scanner, but I wish just the same to get prints of these photos so I could send them to you via snail mail.
Meanwhile, I'll be looking forward to seeing your friend's cruise pictures. I hope 'n' pray she had a wonderful time.

Wills,
I have a postcard that I bought while still onboard Queen Mary, (almost one year ago this coming Monday) of her sailing up the Hudson River to her (either Cunard/Cunard WSL...) berth. The latter is just off her starboard side poop...while the former is just off her starboard aft side between her aft third funnel and main mast.
Anyhoo, I thought that I would share this with you. Meanwhile, I'll try to find this same photo on the net, and add it here. OK?
