Re: Lights's Second Ship
awww man i know what you mean ..
i can still remember how it felt to see the c.c for the first time. she was magnificant. i knew she was going to be an adventure.
i remember the feeling of anxiety .. not for missing home [which i did] but for what was ahead ofme in the ocean i couldnt wait to get out of there and get on the ocean . it was a very gratifying feeling indeed.

Re: Lights's Second Ship
yes i watched as it slipped out of view and i kept thinking that there was a whole world waiting for me out there and i couldnt wait to explore it. my family wasn't there to tell me what to do either and as long as i followed the captains orders i was fine.
i just couldnt waite i had to be on the water. i wanted to be just likeme da. in everyway and i think i would have been had i not well..nevermind. but yes my friend i do i do remember . it was a terrifying yet splendid feeling . i would not trade it for a thing.

Re: Lights's Second Ship
Now that I think of it, musta got some salt in me blood too...one of me relatives was an officer...in fact I think he helped me go to sea by getting me on the Primrose Hill and once I got over the seasickness (oh where is the little green yahoo smilie when I need it?!) I was just fine.
And Lord, wasn't it fine not to have everyone at home riding you all the time?!
