They are very cheep honest. One can buy them for less than a new car. Problem is they are protected. Which means you have to repair them and that costs a fortune. But I was going to buy one in the States not so long ago and it was only $5,000 the problem been it had to be moved and that was going to cost over a million dollers. I could not get the backing for that part.

Funny enough I could rasise it for a ship no problem but people run shy of property that was in need of so much money. My usuall backers who have raised a lot olf money for projects in the past did not want to know as it did not float.

A old mantion is easy to aquare but the upkeep is enormas, plus you have to do work needed in certsin ways not to alter the bui;lding in any way. It costs a fortune.

I guess I can put this here and see what anyone can come up with...I understand I was born at Highfield House...lived at anotherone...think it begins with an "n"...maybe someone will figure it out and post a piccy...

We have some nice houses over here, but by the time they are brought up to code and then restored properly...i'tll cost ye a bluidy arm and a leg! emoticon

hmm im sure somebody can come up with soemthing here lights. i too would love to see the house.

yeah we have nice homes here as well but it too would cost an arm and leg to bring them up to code so most of the time they just tear them down.
