Yes, I have often wondered that myself. Infact, Mary McMaster (her initials being MMM), your eldest sister, and you share the same middle name. Infact, I figured that your middle name had to have a family connection in there some where.
That IS a very interesting Genealogical part of your Family Tree, Will. And since Agnes Murdoch nee Cumming, your grandmother (my grandmother-in-law) is herself a Cumming...wonder if her Ancestry also could be related to the HANNAYS, HANNAH, or HANNAS?

Re: Palnakie scotland
Greetings,
Good luck also William as I have been doing genealogical research on my current family for more than 10 years and it isn't an easy subject to look up. Thanks for listening. TTYL, Laters.

That IS the truth...the whole truth, nothing but the truth. When it comes to my father's side of my Family Tree, I've hardly got anything there, but...
When it comes to my mother's side, that's a whole different story altogether.
But getting back to my father's Armenian side, God told me to go back to the beginning...beginning with Noah, and his three sons and their families. In the Bible, my genealogy ends with Togarmah, Noah's grandson. I typed Togarmah's name into the YAHOO! search engine, and i got quite a few hits...including Wikipedia.
Armenia, you see--can be found near the Caucausus Mountains in the Middle East. My father's people lived in the Black Sea area of Tifles, Russia, after the Turks chased them out of their own homeland.

Re: Palnakie scotland
Greetings,
That must suck eggs. I know on my dad's side of the family, I have ran into a brick wall after my great grand parents. I have been searching, but nothing yet. Thanks for listening. TTYL, Laters.
