my poem-What once was.
What Once Was
I once was the child, so full of life and joy. I spent my days in the sun drenched in lace and little hairbows , like all little girls wish, yet my happiness was to have it's end, a night in which there was a child that shivered in the dark as the water consumed her small soul. Out of the darkness a light came and the child from the water ran the child and traded her hairbows for a halo and her lace for wings.

That is a beautiful poem, you are a very talented writer. I like the last bit about traded hairbows for a halo and lace for wings - really poetic

There was the night which decended upon us but with it came despair. The night shattered dreams and froze hearts.so many lost,so many gone, but never shall we forget for our hearts will go on.
