Re: Roderick Robert Crispin Chisholm's brief bio
Greetings,
There is other pics I have of Robert and just haven't decided to upload to show unless it is private. I have a pic of Robert in the draughtsman office from about early 1912 although Robert wasn't identified. Thanks for listening. TTYL, Laters.

Re: Roderick Robert Crispin Chisholm's brief bio
Hi everyone
Wolfldy, I am glad you found the information helpful. I researched his genealogy, and I spent a long time searching the birth of a roderick chisholm born in 1872, which is the date given on ET and other websites, but when i couldn't find it, I changed it to any year and I only found one birth for a Roderick Chisholm in Dumbarton. I then found him in all the census but was unsure it was him until I founf the death certificate for Sophia Chisholm which showed her informant was Rodericks son, James "Jimmy" Chisholm....sorry I am rambling lol.
MurdochsAid, if you look around on the web you can find much clearer pictures of him.
...I have yet to find out where the names "Robert" and "Crispen" come from since they were not shown on his birth certificate. I am guessing the names were on his marriage certificate, since I haven't seen it yet.? or maybe on work or family documents.

Re: Roderick Robert Crispin Chisholm's brief bio
Greetings,
Thanks for information. In my memories, I remember being called Robert and there are references of Titanic passenger lists referring him as Robert C. Chisholm or even Robert Chisholm. Have you read Titanic: Belfast's Own, there is a little bit about Robert there and a little on Titanic: Triumph and Tragedy? Thanks for listening. TTYL, Laters.

Hi again Robert
Just wanted you to know, I am not doubting that you did have the middle names Robert and Crispen, just that I couldn't find the names on any official documentation like his birth certificate or any of the census' returns.
Several Titanic passenger lists have so many different versions of names, I don't know which is the origional. I did find his name in a newspaper from 1912 however that called him "Robert Chisholm" but that is all, so I just wondered if his middle names appeared in his Marriage Certificate.
take care
Bessie
P.S I have Titanic: Triumph and Tragedy. I don't have the other book though, I will look out for it.

Re: Roderick Robert Crispin Chisholm's brief bio
Greetings,
Go to addall.com, put the author name of stephen cameron and it will give a lot of sources of where you can order it. I mean even Amazon sells it used. The book will be near the bottom of the page saying Titanic: Belfast's Own. Thanks for listening. TTYL, Laters.
