I rememberr reading a fair bit about this particular wreck. It is often cited in books on the Bermuda Triangle and is still one of the great mysteries of the sea. There is some thought that there may have been problems woth the cargo of spirits she was carrying. It is theorised that the captain and crew, along with his wife and infant daughter, took to a longboat but that the rope attatching it to the ship was severed and they floated helplessly off and were lost in the reaches of the open Atlantic.
