Re: Yogurt

Yes indeed they are .. however not all of them are .. the ones that are on the 7 under six list is the ones you should stick too if you want to diet..and use the white bread the wheat has a honey mixture added to it so that makes it higher in everything ..moreso then the white..

Re: Yogurt

No, I'm not exactly on a diet, Will. Infact, for breakfast; I drink one cup of coffee, a small swig of O.J., and drink a can a day of SlimFast...and eat only one solid food meal a day.

I get my daily exercise walking my brother's prepaid eBay packages into the P.O., for which (pending where I park my car) is within a nice longish walkable distance from their double doors. Where I lay them, is all the way towards the end of the counter.

I think that I shall cut my Subway sandwich down to the six inch size, the next time I get a craving to want to go there. When placing my order, I ask them to put the American cheese triangler slices on the wheat bread; then add lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, salt 'n' pepper, mayonnaise 'n' mustard, and oil 'n' vinegar on it. On the side, I ask for two Macadamia nut cookies (for which I only eat one, and save the other one for the next day) and a bag of either Lays Potato Chips or Cheet-Os. I don't hoof them down in one day either.

I was not insenuating that you were on a diet. I was just letting you in on something that unless you have worked at one you wouldnt really know... I too like their mac cookies and cheetos...I had that along with a grilled chicken breast sandwich yesterday for lunch.

Don't worry about it, my friend. I know you weren't. I don't mind sharing with you, my dietary habits. After all--what are friends for, if we can't talk about it, right? emoticon

Those Macadamia nut cookies are especially scrumptious when they're fresh out of the oven, aren't they? emoticon

I shall order that McDonald's 59cent sundae, the next time I head down into town to drop off my brother's packages at the post office. And swing by Subway, just before coming home, and purchase two Mac cookies.

Speaking of the latter--this morning, as I was about to re-enter my house, I smelled Subway baking their chocolate chip cookies. It smelled heavenly!!! emoticon

It is Bashes, our chain of grocery stores, whose Peach yogurt I love.emoticon Not any other popular name brand like Dannon's. The other day, I bought to large buckets of my favorite flavor of yogurt to enjoy and savor. emoticonmore

The larger tibs are too big for just me.. so I get a good amount of the smaller ones...
I am just not to much of an eater so when I do go grocery shopping it is for the littlest things..

Re: Yogurt

Yesterday afternoon, after dropping off my brother's packages at the post office...I dropped by Subway. I bought myself a 6" veggie sub w/a bag of Lays Potato Chips and two freshly made Macadamia nut cookies. My whole entire order only cost me less than $5.00. Isn't that pretty cool or what!?

Re: Yogurt

yes it is. have you tried their new ciabatta bread?

it is pretty good but hard... the chicken sandwich that goes on it is great ..the bread can be a bit softer though I think.

Nope, I haven't tried their Ciabatta bread...I much perfer wheat. I'm also a died in the wool vegetarian, meaning--I don't eat meat, fish nor fowl.

I do have one major gripe though. When I was finishing up my order, this woman came into the store with her two kids; a sweet 'n' quiet daughter, and loud-mouthed brat of son yelling his bratty little mouth off.

You just have no idea how tempted I was to say to the gal waiting on me, "I'm sorry. But I can't hear you over that loud-mouthed little brat!" Way back when I was a kid many moons ago, children were taught to be seen but not heard. Parents today, let their little darlings get a way with murder. emoticon
