No actually, Wills, it happened during the wee hours of the morning...when even housekeeping was still asleep in their quarters. Carla, my cabinmate, had to wake up 'em up via our cabin phone. What we noticed in our bathroom on the floor, was these blackish substance that mustive come up through the floor drain.
It was something in the drain pipe that they had to flush out. Then when we were ashore at either San Diego/or Catalina...they sanitized our bathroom, so we could use it again throughout our cruise. 
Later on, as of recently, as I look back on it, I got a good out of it...b/c as you can see--there's never a dull moment onboard a cruise ship. Is there?

I think that is great ... I would love to go on a cruise ....
I hope they have a great time. There is a lady that I work with she and her husband are going on a cruise in June and she has never been on a ship so she is scared...
She is definately not looking forward to it..
can't waite to hear her stories when she gets back.. lol...

That's wonderful to hear. Please tell her for me that she really has nothing to fear. I should know, shouldn't I? I hope she has lotsa fun on her cruise.
BTW, please find out for me what the name of the cruise ship she's going on...as well as which cruise line (Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Noregian, Dutch Cruises, Princess, etc.) owns it. OK?
Auntie & Uncle will be staying in First Class Staterooms on Deck 8 of Monarch of the Seas...but I don't know which side of the ship they'll be on. 
Oh Will, you really should plan on taking a cruise some time. When you do, make sure you go with a group... that way, it'll be more fun. Plus, you know that old addage about 'safety with numbers', don't you?
