Hi everyone,

welcome aboard gary .
nice to see everyone else back as well.

as for the christian board???? well that needs to be left on that board..

I believe that is the main reason why people get offended and never come back to boards that otherwise they would enjoy .
I try to keep religion off of here though I do believe it is rather difficult to do ...

jumping to conclusions also cause hard feelings and that is not something that needs to happen ..they're enough arguments and battles [so to speak] going on in the world that we don't need it here.

this is a friendly board and I will do what I can to keep it that way. if someone upsets you please pm me and I will personally take care of it.

I had a pipe leak under my computer desk that practically flooded my livingroom near my entertainment center.

My brother had to shut off our water for a couple days until the problem could be found and fixed. That meant rearranging my livingroom by moving most all the furniture out and onto my foyer, and rolling up my carpets and taking them out doors to dry. While they dug a hole under where my computer desk was sitting.

This took almost two weeks, so that the hole could dry, after my nephew fixed the B-B sized hole by cutting out that portion of the damaged pipe. Then replacing it with a new piece by soddering (sp.) in to place. Then he & my cousin-in-law filled in the hole with sand & cement.

Today, is the first day I am able to finally get back on line, after putting all my computer equipment back together again...and without the help of my gt. nephew. No bad! Eh!? My only problem is, that I can't get any sound from my monitor. emoticon

Now you know where I've been...

Aww MA that sucks.. at least they were able to get it fixed.. the water or the moisture from the water may have seeped into your speakers.. have you tried getting different speakers?
I had to get new ones as mine just flat out quit working ..lol..

That sucked, alright!

No can do, because my speakers are built into my flat-screen monitor. Plus, none of my computer equipment/nor my TV entertainment center got damaged by the leakage. Thank God for that!!! Right?

I just don't know why I can't get sound now--Period. Me thinks that perhaps either Carl, or my gt. nephew, Dakota, might could have a looksee to see if I correctly reattached my cords right to my computer tower. My SIL looked at them, herself, and she said that they looked right to her. So we'll have to wait 'n' see.
