Cool! I'll try to write in November, but I doubt it'll reach NaNo proportions.

I think everyone is running around trying to make ends meet, worrying about natural and unnatural disasters...
It would be nice to hear from folks and learn what's happening out there.
I'm working on a new theory about work: it's like Disneyland, an approximation of real life that requires the suspension of disbelief to make it work.
I bet I could make a story out of that!

Ooooooh! That description fits my workplace, too. I often have to suspend my disbelief there, in order to keep working.

It's actually gotten that reaction from my coworkers as well. We sometimes message each other during phone meetings saying things like: ohh, another opportunity to practice suspending disbelief!!
It's really helped me separate from work. I used to be really knotted into work, it was where I got most of my sense of self-worth.
I like finding that in my other life.

Yes!

We are so used to defining us through our work. I'm about to change that, practicing to say that I'm a writer, and I work to support my writing.

It neatly turns writing from a hobby into a real profession. emoticon

I can't believe its been months since I last visited. Its kida sad but funny that some of my last posts are the current ones in certain areas, such as the romance room. Anyway, I had a hectic few months, but I am feeling much better now and hopefully I won't be a stranger here again.

Glad you're back, Lady Romance.

The board has fallen a little quiet, yes. I hope that when the next year starts, it'll find more visitors.
