Re: My crazy NaNoWriMo idea
Actually, I would say that this story is in a style that I love to write in, but don't very often. I don't know why, unless it's just that I don't seem to get a lot of story ideas that are suitable for the style.
But when an idea comes along that's right for it, it's so much fun! And fun is what I was looking for this November, so it's all good.

Re: My crazy NaNoWriMo idea
Y'know, I was having a similar thought for this the other day--doing an entire story pieced together from random generators and such, just to see what would happen. I might still end up doing it, depends on what happens with The Novel in the next couple of months.
Which reminds me...if all goes according to plan, this should be the first year I actually get to participate in NANOWRIMO (I'm usually so swamped with school + have been working on my other novel for the last, er, four years), and I am SO psyched! I've always wanted to do it, and I've been looking forward to this November for awhile because of it.
