I'll let McDoog answer that one--he has a character with some experience in being pulled into television...

Ooooo! Touche, SFGirl!!! emoticon

First, I would slap their hands. How rude!

Second, I would reconnoiter a bit. TV Land might be fun!

Third, If they pulled me in... I could -and would! - thusly throw them out!

Lastly I would go to the closest Public Broadcasting Station on a pledge night. Put myself up for auction, and let someone buy me out of there, before some goofy BOP melter turns me into a FLY!

Re: Hi horror fans

At first I think I would be totally freaking out - how did this happen? But after several deep breaths of the demonic air surrounding me I would pull myself together, realise that if I'm going to get out of here I'm going to have to keep my mind sharp.

Now, my husband loves to play games - so the wisest thing would be to call on his help! Of course, he may be at work then that means I'd have to get away from these fiends and search inside game-land to find weapons and someone to help me! Is this a role playing game?

Even if its not, I'm positive that there would be a way to manipulate these awful things that dragged me into this world... besides, the TVs still on and my husband would be home soon.

EJECT the game and I think I'd be back home. BUT not before having enough time to kick some fiendish-zombified a**!

How's that?

Of course, there could've been so much more description filled with gore and violence, but that just wouldn't be appropriate here! emoticon

I assume you've seen the orginal "Tron?" It's exactly this scenario... quite a lovely movie visually and very cutting edge when it came out.
I hear there's a remake in the makings...

Edit: though definitely not a horror movie so there's your twist

Yes, TRON was great!

I didn't really remember the storyline that much but I do remember seeing it in the theather and it was very "visual", and I thought very relaxing and soothing. All that red and blue racing past on the screen. It was state of the art in it's day. And if I remember right...Atari's were the big thing back then.

Glad to hear a remark of TRON is coming! Although sometimes those turn out to be disappointing. emoticon

Ah, TRON. emoticon

I actually have it on DVD, and I own the novelization of it. I still think it wasn't that great storywise, but what a ride! It definitely made me think of the insides of a computer in a very different way.

The game is going to be a horror game with lots of ghosts.your chariter has all the good stuff but he's dead.the person in the story has to get out of the game without getting spotted, and most importently.getting out of the game.and the screen only shows where the charicters going.not the person in the story.

now try getting out of that.

Why without getting seen? Seen by who? Have they played the game before? Keep one step ahead of the game character, the MC removes bad guys, and gives the GC an easy ride. The GC completes the game and the MC is freed.
