Current Novel
Hey there everyone! Guess what? My New Year's resolution is to finish my romance novel. I have several on the go, so I picked one and I will finish it!! I have a plan laid out, so it can get done. I write every night, a minimum of 500 words. So far, so good. i am really proud of myself. How is everyone else's writing coming along?

Re: Current Novel
There's pretty much no romance in the novel I'm rewriting right now, but there was a love interest in my NaNo novel in November. When I have time I think I will serialize that one on my website. It's too crazy to do anything else with it.

Re: Current Novel
I'm writing for children (8 to 12) so I haven't included a romance thread in this story.
Well done on your writing 500 words everyday, Lady Romance. The words soon add up, don't they?

Re: Current Novel
So far, so good. There was a bit of a bump in the road. my mom had surgury, so between taking care of my dad (he needs someone with him 24/7) and taking care of mom, etc... it's been a stressful couple of weeks. I won't worry about what I haven't written, but I will continue on. My main goal is to finish it this year, so I still have loads of time (but I won't abuse that- I will stick as close to my goal as possible). And yes, 500 words a day do add up

Re: Current Novel
Hope your parents are doing better now, and you can return to writing a bit every day.
Best of luck!

Re: Current Novel
Thought I would update everyone on my progress. I had a bump in the road (several, actually), but I am back on track now. I began putting my novel on my computer. So far I have 35 pages typed. I have alot more then that written, though. I love watching my word count grow each day. How is everyone else's novels coming along?

Re: Current Novel
It's great to see a file grow, isn't it? Just take care to back it up somewhere, even if it means mailing it to yourself or a trusted friend.
My novels are stalled right now, and I'm focusing on a short story that's on a close deadline. Not too happy with the stalling, but there's a lot else going on in Real Life, so ... *shrugs*
