I've built an audience Writing for AC
I've submitted some work to Associated Content, The People's Media Company. They've got a great community of Content Producers.
I've gained a lot of exposure from being a CP there and just submitting my articles.
Oh, and yes, of course you can use it as an online portfolio, too.
