posticon Agatha Christie classics

Remember her? The master of mystery novels. I recently found and read a new novel (which is surprising since I thought I had previously found and read everything she had ever written). And I remembered how much I always enjoy her novels.

Here is my personal list of all-time Agatha Christie classics.

#1: And Then There None
#2: The Murder of Roger Ackoryd.
#3: Murder on the Orient Express
#4: Witness for the Prosecution and other stories
#5: Curtain

Argee, disagree, or post your list of favorites! emoticon

Re: Agatha Christie classics

I very much enjoyed her novels, but it's been a loooooooong time since I read anything by her.

I most enjoyed "The Pale Horse", with that slightly forgetful mystery writer. Hercule Poirot is always a bit too much of a Bohemian for me, don't like him a lot ...

I think Hercule Poirot is the best. His solving the murder of Roger Ackoryd was brillant. Poirot was hounding the guy like a pre-Columbo.

But there was one book, The Four Aces, or Four Cards, or something, where Poirot faked his death which was not quite so brillant.

Overall, he'a a fav.
