Re: Beverages

Eek! Red wine with coke! That's what a wine-maker and barman uses to stay awake in his bar. He also says he crashes three hours later. emoticon

Whiskey, yes, but never Jack Daniels! *shudders* Give me a nice single malt to sniff and sip, and I'll be happy.

Although when I'm writing I usually have less powerful stuff. Often tea, water, apple juice, and sometimes a glass of nice white in the evening.

Re: Beverages

Let's see... coffee and tea. I used to drink, but I stopped.
When I drank, I preferred Captain Morgan's Dark Rum for company, and Southern Comfort for the rest of the day. The Dark Rum could be drunk without coke, since it was already dark, as if I'd added coke. One time, I was caught out, and one of the fellas I was drinking with told me I should put some coke in. I went to the bathroom, got a QTip, dipped it into his coke, and wrung it out over my drink. I smiled at him and said, There, I've added coke. After that, I pretty much just stuck with Southern Comfort, in and out of company.
Later, I stopped drinking alcohol completely, which is one of the three best decisions of my life.

So, uh, tea first, and coffee when I really need to jump start the engine.
