Question about Queen Mary's twin helm wheels?
Lights, I really could, since you too visited her yourself, use your answer on this one...
The last time I paid a personal visit onboard Queen Mary...I ventured forward to her bridge just check it out. I noticed that she has a pair of twin helm wheels, and this totally stymies me WHY there are two, instead of one helm wheel. I was wondering if you could please tell me why this is thus, as to what the extra wheel is for? Thank you.

P.S. You know? I didn't even to think, nor check to see if she also has a wheelhouse like her older WSL sisters had.

Re: Question about Queen Mary's twin helm wheels?
Hi MA, sorry to have gotten to this one so late. I believe that the QM has two helms because she was fitted with twin rudders to increase her manoevrability.
