Bernard Hill (TITANIC's Captain E.J. Smith)
Last night while flipping channels, I happened on the AMC Channel just in time to see our dear ole' "bearded" Captain Smith, himself, Bernard Hill in a film titled--Gothika. Please don't ask me this, because I really don't know what role he was playing...as it was then a commercial came on. I was, on the other hand, very thrilled to see him, just the same. :sailor:

That sounds like a lovely movie.  His role was the character Phil Parsons in that movie.

The TNT Channel just aired the complete Lord of the Rings trilogy, beginning with...
Fellowship of the Ring
The Twin Towers
Return of the King
For which we were treated by MUCH longer footage of these films...for which I had the privilege of seeing Bernard at his best. His character of "Rohan", reminded me alot like his Captain Smith characterization in TITANIC.
So if and when TNT again airs the above trilogy, it is my hope that you get to watch them.
