Wedding Bells For Lights
I am so excited! Wlflady proposed to me and I accepted. We are getting married in Windsor, Ontario on September 22 of this year and our very own Teamtunafish (Lee) is going to serve as our matron-of-honour. Whodathunk it--Lights finally getting spliced!

Re: Wedding Bells For Lights
Hey Lights!
Hope you & your fiance got yourselves passports, before you head up north to Canada!?
Even I had to renew my passport before I could go on our June 21-25 cruise onboard our Monarch of the Seas oceanliner. Our cruise took us into Mexican waters along the Baja California coastline. Which is why I needed my passport.
BTW, you & Anna have my best wishes too.

Thank you for the kind wishes, MA.
From what I understand, passports are required for air and ship travel already, but that passports for arrival by bus, which is how we plan to travel, does not take effect until December 31st. But I plan to recheck the regulations this week just to make sure.
Hope you had a great time on your cruise!

Great idea! to recheck the travel regulations before you two travel north to Canada!
Why, thank you!!! Oh, I had a marvelous time onboard both Royal Caribbean's Monarch of the Seas; as well as Queen Mary, for which we stayed overnight...and in First Class cabins aboard the latter ship, to boot. Infact, our overnight stay onboard QM proved to be the perfect prelude to our cruise onboard Monarch. Our starboard side outside cabins aboard QM were excellent, and the food great! As was our portside outside cabins aboard Monarch. The four of us were known as the Ya Ya Sisterhood.
Monarch is such a cute ship too. Yes, you read right. She IS a cute ship at that.
MA
P.S. Both ships, as I was strolling around their forward decks, totally startled me with loud blasts from their ships' horns.
P.S. #2 -- From QM, I still am suffering from an injury I sustained on my right ring finger, from my accidental tripping on those L-shapped chicadarises that hold the forward railing inplace, just below the bridge deck.
P.S. #3 -- I forgot to add, Lights, that once you get your new/renewed passports...they're good for a total of 10-years.

So Lee tells me the wedding was a wonderful event, Lights! How are you two doing? Enjoying life as a couple now? I bet it feels great, that commitment must be one influential experience.

Re: Wedding Bells For Lights
Sorry for not getting this up here sooner.
It was a lovely ceremony, held in a little park on the Detroit River. We were married in a little gazebo by a rose garden. Our very own TeamTunafish and hubby Alexis were our witnesses, and family from boh sides were in attendance, as well as my friends and wolfldy's karate sensei. I couldn't think of a lovelier place for us to marry, looking out on the Detroit River we both love.

Lee emailed me a few images of the ceremony! I noted immediately how beautiful and serene the backdrop for it all was. The weather seemed beautiful too! It was very nice, and Tuna's dress was very pretty!
