It has come to my attentioon that a watch firm is marketing a watch which purportedly contains metal and coal from TITANIC.Here is the link.

Yes... Lee informed me of this as well. I will email all Titanic contacts including Dr. Charles Pellegrino about this, and we'll all have to expose these frauds. This is a disgrace, not to mention completely immoral. It disgusts me to no end to know that a grave site is being treated like a gold mine as opposed to being shown the reverence is deserves for its historical significance!

I can't imagine the iron being authentic though. How does one manage to utilize such decayed materials, and preserve them well enough to make a watch? Iron isn't quite a logical choice for jewelry since it rusts, not to mention century old iron from the ocean floor! I also can't see how these people collected enough metal to create watches from. I'd like to know how much of the watch is really Titanic.
