Yesterday while checking out Rootsweb.com for MURDOCHS, specifically information on Will. I come across this vitally important piece on his mother, Jane "Jeanie" MURDOCH nee MUIRHEAD's parents and three older siblings... Will's grandparent's names are, William MUIRHEAD and Agnes McMORINE. His mother, Jane "Jeanie" MUIRHEAD was b. 5 April 1846 in Carlaverlock, Dumfrieshire, Scotland. His three older siblings: Mary McMaster MURDOCH b. 2 Nov. 1865 in the Oldham Presbyterian Hospital in Liverpool, Lancashire, England James MURDOCH II b. 27 Oct. 1867 in the Oldham Presbyterian Hospital in Liverpool, Lancashire, England Mary Agnes Cummings MURDOCH b. 19 Nov. 1870 in Dalbeattie. ~*~*~*~*~ David Grossett, was the author, who kindly provided the above information on Will's family. He found it all in the IGI Batch #C118154, 1820-1864, Source Call #1067957 - Film - Printout Call #6901649 Film. I also might add, that the researchers got it wrong, regarding the Jane's age in comparison with her alleging to be 3-years older than her husband, Captain Samuel MURDOCH. Actually, it is the other way around. He, being b. 4 April 1843, makes him 3-years her senior.
