You're fave passenger or crew member?
I don't meen to sound mean but, do you have a favourite person who was on the Titanic?
Mine is Jack Phillips!

For me, I can safely say that without a shadow of a doubt, and without much thought...'s First Officer, William McMaster Murdoch, is my personal and most  'd crew member.
But when it comes to the passengers; it teeters between Margaret Tobin Brown & Thomas Andrews...but I do favor Mr. Andrews though.

It's difficult to choose a favorite passenger, however I can be sure Thomas Andrews is a candidate and likely the one who is my favorite.
Now for the crew, I'd say it's between Lightoller and Murdoch. Murdoch followed correct orders from Smith on sinking night, yet Lightoller would just naturally seem my favorite.

sometimes when i post something asking who is the favourite people start moaning and kick me out because they say it's nasty to have a fave!

You're very welcome. I don't really have a favorite to be honest, but I do often lean in interest towards certain passengers and crew. So it's a so so situation.

Why should they kick you out, Claire, for presenting such a perfectly legit question such as that to them...when they, themselves, have that very same such question posted over on the ET - Encyclopedia Titanica board?
Mr Titanic, doesn't that kind of thing sound like the ET Mafia to you, on the TT forum?

It sure does. Those who are opposed to the questions can always feel free to refrain from answering it. Sometimes one shouldn't have a favorite, just lean towards passengers in particular regarding interest in research. All were facinating in my opinion.

Absolutely. And they shouldn't jump all over you to pose such a question. The posted over on the ET board, is a question pertaining to 'Whom is your favorite Deck Officer is'? Or, it's the listing of your favorite officers.

I agree with MA and Mr Titanic--if they feel that way, they don't have to answer a question! Some people in the TITANIC world are just plain mean. But ask away here...we don't bite!
People being who they are, not having a favourite passenger or crew member would be, I think, highly unusual. Speaking of, if I have a fave it would be Murdoch...always been a big fan of his.
