Titanic PC Games
I was wondering if anyone has a copy of either "Titanic Adventure out of Time" or "Titanic Explorer". I am thinking of buying The Adventure out of time however I am unsure if I should, to those who have it is it a good game? I hear it works on windows 95, but I have XP, will it work on both? And I know that through both the Adventure out of time and Titanic Explorer one can tour the ship, which on is better? I am leaning towards The Adventure out of time as of now.

Re: Titanic PC Games
I have the TITANIC: Adventure Out of Time PC game, but I'm not too sure how to play it.
I think that I know what the box looks like that holds the TITANIC Explorer game. Isn't a game James Cameron came up with, that pictures the ship on the front?

Yes that is the Titanic Explorer one. I was thinking of buying one of them but I was not sure which one and if the one I do choose to buy will work on my Windows XP.

Re: Titanic PC Games
I almost bought that one at Hastings, but I didn't think that I had enough money for which to buy it. Now, I wish that I had.
Like you, I too wonder if the former game can be played on my Windows 98+ version. Lucky you & Char, for having Windows XP. I wish that I too, had that updated version.
Doesn't it depend on where you buy it? I mean, if you bought it in a store, you could ask the salesperson there about whether the latter game would work on your XP, couldn't you?

Hi I don't know if it's too late to say this lol but I have Titanic: adventure out of time and it works great on my windows xp. I had it about 8 years ago on windows 95 and it kept crashing so it wasn't very good but it's excellent on xp, it's a really good game!

Really! I was worried it wouldn't work on XP since I remember reading somewhere it ran on windows 95, which is rather old. Thank You for informing me! So you like it? How do you like the graphics? I don't care much for the game itself, I'm more interested in touring the ship, but heck I may just try out the game as well, it could be fun to be on an adventure onboard the Titanic. Though, such a game for a ship like Titanic isn't too fitting. Lusitania maybe, but Titanic? Well, at least we are lucky, and have a chance to see the ship through it.

Yes, I have that version and it works well on my XP, better than on my 95.

The graphics are not high quality like some games nowadays but it is very enjoyable. The tour is good too. The game is about a secret agent (the player) solving a mystery on the Titanic before it sinks. They get to meet a lot of characters, fictional and historical and if they succeed, the whole future of the 20th century changes for the better. The game begins in 1942 London, during the second world war and ends there if the player plays it right.
You can tour the ship during the game as well, I think there are more people around on it.
On the game you can send wireless messages too and visit the boiler rooms and lots of other places. You get your own cabin too.

Re: Titanic PC Games
True, I didn't expect them to be the best providing it was for windows 95. I've seen many pictures of the interiors before on google as well. But it all seems so exciting to actually move throughout the ship. I wonder, are almost all the cabins acessible? That would be interesting. And of course, can one also go into the Aft Grand Staircase as well as the forward one?

How does it work on Windows 98+? That's what I have, and how about if one has Firefox...will it work good with this program?
