Background color to postings
I have a suggestion for the board. I've just started checking it out and I'm having a hard time reading the postings. They seem to be white text on a very light gray background. I have to highlight the text with my cursor to be able to read it. Perhaps you could make the text black or its background darker? The contrast would make it easier to read.

Actually John, I just figured out a way to solve the problem, see if I want my font black (as I do) the bottom line where it states the Admins and modes becomes black, and fuses into the background. So it was only temporary. However, I cannot spot the white text you are refering to, can you please give me a more detailed example? Is this when it tells you your post has been submitted?

When I read a posting that's already made, the text is white on a light background.
I found out more though. I view your board on Safari on a Mac. I just viewed the same board on Internet Explorer on a Mac and it looks different! The text is a darker gray on a light gray background. Much easier to read!
I wonder why the big discrepancy between browsers? I've never had problems with Safari on other boards.

Yes it does seem rather odd, however I am aware different computers in themselves make boards look different - it is interesting browsers can as well. Glad to know the board wasn't messing up or anything. If you have any problems I'd be glad to take care of them. Thank you for your honesty and reporting of this matter

It will be a little inconvenient for me, but I plan on sticking with Safari and highlighting the text to read it. I don't know CSS or coding well enough to help out in why the text is white in safar but correct in other browsers.

I don't either, I use Mozilla Firefox, so I don't really catch any problems that result in others browsers, Not sure how Runboard sets up their boards but I do know in IE FireFox and Netscape it looks the same.

It's amazing how the colors will vary from computer to computer. On my system, the text is black on gray. Odd.

Well It would depend on the contrast and brightness features you have set your monitors on as well. Or so I beleive.

Everything looks fine to me, James. I too, have Mozilla Foxfire. My only gripe is that I cannot pick up the Van Impes' website -- http://www.jvim.com , nor Chris' Christianity Forum, with MF.:| 
Carl, who fixed my computer, told me that in order for me to get the above two sites, I would have to use the IE. But since I hate those dang miserable pop-ups, I much prefer our MF.

True, I am releaived to have downloaded Mozillia Firefox, it's service truley has no rival. No pop ups and great security as well as the broswer is user friendly.
