Plans for Development of TITANIC Quarter

Enjoy, all you fans of Harland and Wolff, especially our Mr. Titanic! emoticon

One more reason to visit Belfast.
In fact the only thing that weighs against it is money.

More than welcome. I'm glad to see that Mr. Andrews's place of employment is getting some a breath of new life into it. And nice to see that some of the old will be preserved. emoticon

You hit the nail right on the head there Lights. I have an honest love affair with Harland and Wolff, I truely do treasure it, and all it represents. I recall reading this article about a month ago though.. it was very interesting to say the least. I am pleased to know the buildings which have taken a severe beating by the elements of weather and toll of time will be preserved. That is all I like about the idea really. I am not too fond of the housing developments and all that jazz, unless the main area of the Harland and Wolff that contain its remaints is left as-is.

There is something about the drawing offices, as well as the staircase within them and the Thompson Graving dock that really have a grand effect on me. I am quite fond of pictures that relate to these area's of Harland and Wolff, one could say I favor them. Touching. Nice work Lights, Thank You for sharing. emoticon
