This film is another sequel of the Tony & Academy Award Winning Film--The Miracle Worker, that originally starred the late Anne Bancroft as Annie; and Patty Duke as Helen. This go around, is all about Annie meeting a man, John Macy; their courtship that leads up to them falling in love, and then getting married. With Helen as their charge, and third person in their triangler relationship, always demanding a great deal of Annie's time. John soon falls out of love with his wife, because he can't take Helen's constant presence in his life with Annie. He soon leaves them both to fend for themselves.
