posticon Hello From Scotland

Hello there, my name is Debbie and I am from Scotland. I am 38 years old and am a huge Titanic addict lol. I've been to Halifax NS to see the graves of the victims and the Maritime museum, I have read every book I can find on Titanic and collect everything possible, for xmas I was given a limited edition painting from my mother in law. Love your site and hope to get to know you all.

Hello Debbie and Welcome to the Ship of Lost Dreams Community! I see you're a fellow Titanic addict. I'm certain you'll fit in well with the rest of the gang.

I appologise for not greeting you earlier. Things had been hectic but have now calmed a little. It's great to be back, and see a new face. emoticon

  Debbie!

Welcome to Mr Titanic's TSOLD board!!! It's great to meet someone from William McMaster Murdoch (my favorite & most loved Senior Officer)'s home country of Scotland posting here. Where, may I ask, in Scotland do you live? Any where near Will's home town of Dalbeattie, perhaps? emoticon

Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy posting here.

Re: Hello From Scotland

Hello there MurdocksAid emoticon I'm from central Scotland, a few miles from Falkirk and smack bang in between Edinburgh and Glasgow. A lot further up than Dalbeattie, but it would only take a couple of hours to drive there, maximum emoticon It's actually almost on the border, so it's closer to England than Scotland.
I have to say I love the layout here, this is fantastic. And it's so good to find other Titanic fanatics around. My family think I am nuts, especially my children who can't understand my facination with a ship that sunk almost a hundred years ago.

Yes, we must all have that same problem. But anyone who has come to know Titanic as we have would truly understand. It's just like my favorite author Dr. Pellegrinio once said: Once Titanic touches your heart, you begin to touch back. And there's no breaking that bond. Ever.
