hello
Newbie here. MA - I think I remember you from Ti-Ti. I posted as "Bunky" there but it's been awhile. I'm a fellow Arizonan.

Re: hello
Hello Clara7 and welcome aboard! I was once a member of Ti-Ti as well but that's history. So you are from Arizonia as well, I suppose you can second MA's enthusiasm regarding the Monsoon? Well we are pleased to have you on board and I hope you enjoy your stay!

Re: hello
 Carla7! And a hardy welcome to a fellow Arizonan at that. Yes, I too, once was with TT, but am no more...because they banned me. :ahh:
Anyhoo, I'm very thrilled to see you've joined here at TSOLD...and I hope to see more of you too.
Hugs,
MA

Re: hello
Yeah, I know what you mean, Carla. I am glad, however that we had a resput from the heat for a couple weeks atleast...but I don't look forward to the temps getting up into the 100 teens, though. :ahh: I guess, that these temps could be what is commonly called--Indian summer.

Re: hello
MA, check out the pictures on my little site. Click on the "Arizona" link on the main page and then the "Lake Havasu City/London Bridge" link under the West Coast heading. The scenes will probably be familiar to you! My dad and I visited Lake Havasu City awhile back. We went and looked at the bridge up close. We could see where the stones had been numbered so that it could be put back together again. I thought that was so cool! I took alot of pictures of it and the surrounding area. I'll probably end up scrapbooking most of them.

p.s. - I had a nice Titanic section too but I used a program to design it and then uploaded it to the space provided by my ISP. When I moved and changed to a different ISP, it went bye-bye. One of these days I'll have to get it uploaded again because I had spent alot of time on it.

Those nice pictures indeed of LHC's London Bridge, and the areas surrounding it as well too. Now that's atypical of what it looks like here year round, doesn't it?

Yes, you will have to upload your Titanic section again soon.
Under the TSOLD's A la Carte Restaurant, you will have to check out the TITANIC - World's Largest Museum Attraction thread. It tells you about the Branson, MO's newest Titianic-shaped museum...including a link you can click on to check it out.
I don't know if whether or not you are a THS member, or if you receive their TITANIC Commutator...but if you do--I hope you noticed it's latest Volume 30 - Number 173 * 2006 front cover. Because that is precisely what the museum looks like...like the liner herself...atleast her foreward section, that is.
