That's a very beautiful roses avatar, but...
You really should shrink it down to a more reasonable smaller normal size...so that it won't take up the whole entire message post? See how nice 'n' small Mr Titanic's & mine are? That's precisely how small yours' should also be.
Anyhoo, since you too show an interest in our great ship, Titanic...hope you enjoy posting here as well too.

Red and I are on five boards together as admins and belong to several others. This is the only board where her avatar appears that way. She thought an admin here did that. I decided it must be the board's settings because I saw no sign of edit. Point being, we don't have any idea why her avie only does that on this board. If you can tell us how to fix it, we shall!

A majority of us store our avatar photos under our Photobucket.com accounts, Kourtesan. Don't we, Mr Titanic? There, you have three options on how small you need to shrink your avatar pics down to a more decent size.
I highly suggest that Rose get a Photobucket account, and make her changes there...before she can add it to her runboard Control Panel, in order for it to show up as her avatar.

That brings up an interesting question that I might have to address on a board as an admin. Every board I have or manage, the size of the avatar is not governed by the size the member chooses. The miscellaneous settings of the boards decide avie dimensions. Hence, the lack of need to obtain a special account. What is different here?
Also, I found that pic for her and the actual size in the hot link is only about 2"x2". So second question being, what happens to inflate the size?
Very curious.

The avatar is so big it's kind og funny. 
You see, all other boards set a certain size that all avatars have to be. So if the dimensions are set to 100X100 then all avatars on the forum are set to that size. Instead, on this forum I allow the images to be as large as they normally would be. Since Red's image would typically be restricted in size on other boards, it isn't here, and it's actrual size is that big. So she wouldn't have known, but this board just works to let images be as large as they were when uploaded.
Sorry about that. I can help by finindg you a different rose avatar, or just re-set the settings. I don't do the latter because it upsets all the other avatars too.

I know! When I saw we yesterday, we were like, "OMG! Who did that!"
The jpg it's linked to is only about 2"x2", so this really is confusing!! She loves that avie, and wouldn't want to change. Have no idea how to solve.
