Death Of Titanic Survivor
I just thought you might like to know that Lillian Asplund died on 6 may 2006 aged 99. Lillian survied the sinking with her mother Selma and younger brother Felix. She was 5 years old at the time. She lost her father and three brothers in the disaster, one of them being her twin.
you can read a small obituary here:

Re: Death Of Titanic Survivor
Thank you, Bess, for that sad piece of news about our now late American Titanic survivor, Lillian Asplund, passing away yesterday in Worcestor, Massachusettes.
May she rest in peace until the Lord comes back to resurrect her soon...real soon.

Re: Death Of Titanic Survivor
That is sad. There are so few Titanic survivors. But they lived to see 100, something very few people this day in age have that opprotunity. It must have been due to enduring such a great loss with Titanic. I hope they all rest in peace, their strength will always be admired.

Re: Death Of Titanic Survivor
Deinitely, Mr Titanic. It is interesting how many survivors of Titanic lived past the century mark...more than the general population, I am sure. I think yes, the strength gained from the disaster certainly helped..."If I could survive the Titanic, I could survive anything!"
May Ms Asplund truly rest in peace.
