don't know what the trainer said to the jockey on that last one, but must have been something like 'take him to the back, then when it's too late, leg it up the outside and finish 4th'.
anyway the fish's mate is backing mister arjay in the 4.20 at ponty. 16-1.

should be making the frame here.
Spotlight: 25-1, caught eye staying on well when close seventh in soft-ground maiden over stiff 6f on debut in March; that form just ordinary, but this longer trip sure to bring about improvement and looks major danger to big two.
Newton Abbot 7.35 Moon Star is a decent sort over hurdles mainly on softish ground, but was nabbed on the line on firmer ground last time. Makes his debut over the bigguns tonight and is a large 12/1 with bluesq.com
Spotlight: Improved form over hurdles this year, since joining Paul Blockley, winning twice and only denied on the line at Stratford recently off a mark of 123; good enough to win races over fences if taking to the game but stiff enough question posed on debut.
