I write because very few people can read American Sign Language, especially on the web.
Not to mention that if I scream very loudly only a few more people can hear my stories.
None on the web again.
So, for my money, writing is the best way to get a story across, barring interprative (sp?) dance.
I also write because we have a little facist weenie in the White House.
If he were gone would I still write? Yes, but only to piss Charlie Van Horn off.
And yes, PM...I remember your thread

Ah - My daughter has been reading and writing American Sign Language since she was 9 months old. She's fairly normal, so your entire argument falls apart right there.
Except for the bit about the little weenie in the White House - now there is a scary little turd right there.
I loved the Home Land Security alert the other day which can be summarised as follows:
- Veteran Administration Hospitals may be terrorist targets because
- Suspicious activity has been noted TWICE - and not only that but it's been THIS YEAR, not like that other crap fear mongering we pulled a couple of weeks ago*
- The suspicious activity turned out to be nothing to do with terrorists BUT..
- Veteran Administration Hospitals may be terrorist targets.. you never know.
What a pack of twisting BASTARDS.

So here's what we do...We all post a story on spoof translated into key-sign and when it gets dumped we sue for discrimination. Since spoof has no assests other than the magazine itself, we take it from Jack.
Then, we encourage him to post a story and ban him.
