Hello, I'm introducing myself here-- thanks to Jen for pointing out this forum to me..
Name is Bob, live in NJ. Age: 39.
I was recently writing on the Spoof until I was booted. Seems to be a recurring theme around here.
I started a blog a year ago (http://www.potfry.blogspot.com) that began as largely a satirical look at the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry, and included some more serious stuff about baseball and life. The blog then shifted into a tragic but brief period as an porn/badmitton hybrid site, before re-focusing and becoming a broader satirical site. "Site", by the way, is a bit of an overstatement. It's a piece of cyber data floating in the middle of nowhere.
I write because it makes me tingle when it's good. Nothing else with clothing on does that for me. I write because my brain sees the folly in things and starts to frame paragraphs. I write because I like nothing better than to make people laugh, think, or cry (or all 3, which is dangerous, sort of like sneezing and farting at the same time).
I look forward to getting to know some or all of you. I'm not quite sure what to do with this writing affliction.

Sorry the place seems to be a Gah-host town of recent. Produce, the master of most ceremonies here, is on vacation since his birthday. Well, strangely enough, since being beaten like a red-headed step child by the Spoof staff, I've inexplicably stopped writing, except for my daily email to Helium describing my bowel movements.
I need to get re-started.
