IMPORTANT. You have to write:

for this to work.
Want G00gle ( Not G00gle News ) and other search engines to Spider Something that is hidden somewhere? Do you submit stories to website that don't get picked up by search engines?
Add the URL in this thread using the format above and it WILL get to Google and other search engines.

Not to appear as an idiot, but what exactly does the grab tag do? Is that something that Google looks for or does that perform some function native to this board?
So, you're saying that posting a url such as:
[grab]http://www.thespoof.com/news/spoof.cfm?headline=s8i6314&preview=1
in this forum will get it Googled?

The grab tag is just an indicator to my script that you are stating a URL.
My script ( at http://www.appletart.com/runboard/links.html ) pretends that it's a browser, calls up this thread, and pulls all the grab urls and turns them into a list. I've told google about that URL so ( in time ) they will end up in Google.

Well, I did this yesterday and while the link appeared on the site listed earlier in this thread, the story is still not on google (although it is on google news). Has anyone else seen different results?
