Russus says I'll only make a few cents for my candy heart submission. As you know down here in Texas, stamps alone cost over a thin dime. All my profit would be eat'n up just buying a stamp to submit my candy heart idea.

Late night August 13th, 26 minutes after Mr Decker first appeared in the Vortex, Russus, perhaps not knowing yet that the Spoof forum was dead apparently continued a thought that he had going in the real forum, not knowing that he wasn't in Kansas anymore ..
Over 5 hours later, darvijen, yes our darvijen then known as Jennifer Gardner armed with nothing but cherry candy hearts began to understand the nature of the new reality ..
As fate would have it, 18 minutes later, darivjen's political nemesis, Rich Lather chimed in,

It's sunrise now, day TWO in the Vortex, almost 7 AM. Darvijen, beginning to understand a bit more about what has happened jests and jabs and jokes with Mr Lather, who had quite a "cool" Avatar back then, the one where he's BEATING someone totally senseless, probably J Kerry.
Mr Lather of course replies,
ROCK'N animated Gif Mr Lather. Two applaudios simply for that .. wish you'd bring it back one day. It's almost as cool as Mr Deadword's Borg/NPR thing.
Finally Mr Dean, folks don't beat him up coz he was simply concerned about the censored (covered in red) Hi-jinx occurring ..

Thanks for the reassurance, (from an earlier post in this thread), Produce. I can now see that these "9 Summer Days" revelations are as much an artistic produce as they are a bird-in-the-hand. I'm enjoying them.
I was sorry to see all of your stories disappear from the Spoof. Will you ever crank up the quill there or somewhere else again? I have read your comments here about your communications with the gas man and understand your decision to pull them, but I was just curious.

Just glad you're here Mr Decker. You MAY not want the title
"Leader of the Rebellion" ..
you may not even want to be part of the rebellion. Many of us here though, me included have at least some degree of rebellion in us. That's why we're here, why Mz Jenna created the place. If the Vortex had not existed, this place would not exist.
The spoof just killed their biggest thread a few days ago because it was getting too hot. Now you can see why everyone loves being here at Mz Jenna's.
Your Survey post that night, I knew would cause major problems. The way things were going I,if I was mgmt might have pulled the forum plug too. Mainly because with your survey active, many many writers unhappy with the state of the spoof would have voted
SPOOF SUX ..
in a thread visible to the world.
Not good pr. My guess is, they can't delete surveys.
You, however seem to be like me. Seeing both sides fairly, not just from the point of mgmt or writers. I don't care I get 1-starred or un-karmed .. some of mgmt, if they're still there are at least trying. Mr Helium's not the monster some public opinion might make him out to be, quite the contrary even though sometimes he makes us want to RIP his freak'n HEAD OFF!! Have to be fair folks.
JackO on the other hand .. I don't know, I still have a major problem with JACK'O.
And,
The gas-man didn't make me pull my stories. The system did. Though, the gasman does have some real issues to deal with as everyone here seems to agree. Hopefully he'll work things out. Mgmt hasn't spoken in the Spoof forum for quite a while as all can see.
