"Leader of the Rebellion" ..
you may not even want to be part of the rebellion. Many of us here though, me included have at least some degree of rebellion in us. That's why we're here, why Mz Jenna created the place. If the Vortex had not existed, this place would not exist.
The spoof just killed their biggest thread a few days ago because it was getting too hot. Now you can see why everyone loves being here at Mz Jenna's.
Your Survey post that night, I knew would cause major problems. The way things were going I,if I was mgmt might have pulled the forum plug too. Mainly because with your survey active, many many writers unhappy with the state of the spoof would have voted
SPOOF SUX ..
in a thread visible to the world.
Not good pr. My guess is, they can't delete surveys.
You, however seem to be like me. Seeing both sides fairly, not just from the point of mgmt or writers. I don't care I get 1-starred or un-karmed .. some of mgmt, if they're still there are at least trying. Mr Helium's not the monster some public opinion might make him out to be even though many of us might want to RIP his freak'n HEAD OFF!!!!!
Have to be fair, Mr Helium is not our enemy. His intentions are good ..
execution .. D minus minus (-) .. sorry Mr H but you screw totally up many times talking, dealing with the writers working for FREE .. take a couple of notes from Mz Jenna. But,
Mr H is not out to get us folks. He does care. Some slack please. It's all so complicated. Even YOU know that Dr J, deep down inside. You hired him.
JackO on the other hand .. I don't know, I still have a major problem with JACK'O.
And,
The gas-man didn't make me pull my stories. The system did. Though, the gasman does have some real issues to deal with as everyone here seems to agree. Hopefully he'll work things out. Mgmt hasn't spoken in the Spoof forum for quite a while as all can see.

PART of it all.
Back when the Vortex existed I saved the whole vortex to harddrive. Only, even I don't know what happens next. All I do is everynight open up that Vortex folder, pull out the next few posts .. post em.
I don't remember what happened in the vortex much so .. what I'm posting is NEWS to me. I can't wait myself to see what happens next. I'd imagine .. yep I remember, after Mr Dean posted, others kind of blamed the candy hearts for it all but ..

IT'S so much fun for me too darvijen.
I do not look ahead. Tonight I'll open the folder, pull out the NEXT few posts which could probably take us into day THREE of the Vortex, I don't know, write a bit of commentary around it. And,
I do believe that you and Mz bank's "dialog" could be coming up in a few days or 2, I don't know .. I'm just going from memory about the vortex .. a memory we all have.

So I assume that the delay in posting the next day of the vortex has something to do with the fact that you have to paint over most of Brianna and my posts to one another?
Or is this only wishful thinking?

Unfortunately god I don't recall you or quite a few others ever existing in the vortex. We'll see as time goes on. I think only a handful of Spoof_Americans ever discovered the Vortex during it's limited lifespan. Those that missed it hopefully can see what life was like there through these chronicals.

speculating specutively got me in trouble last time. talk'n without check'n google first.

I don't know what's coming up next darvijen but from memory I DO know that when I get to SOME parts of the Vortex his-story .. I imagine I might need to order a few more red paint photoshop pixels from Adobe.

Day 2 in the vortex. Things were getting pretty .. chaotic, perhaps out of hand.
I have to admit that I also kind of agreed with some of the posters concerned about what was happening in the thread. Mr Dean had already expressed his opinion, mine too. Other's posted also ..
It's at this point that tensions begin to intensify as fingers began to be pointed
or thought to be pointed or not pointed at all. The produce manager makes a "slight" (ha ha) joke-lette even which in a way backfires as you'll soon see in the still unstable, slowly developing Vortex ..
Interesting note if you note it. Note that in the beginning just about everyone had a VETERAN WRITER status. NOW, that status is now simply "WRITER". Even though the Spoof was totally unaware of the existence of the rogue thread we called the Vortex, Avatars and all data associated with Avatars reside in a separate part of the database. Hence management could easily make changes to a writer's status without actually touching any specific thread. Management converted us all back to simply "Writer" and the software reflected that change even in the Vortex.
Slowly folks are discovering the new Vortex, showing up .. sometimes with a rock'n car ..
